Trama
La vera storia di Hunter Patch Adams, un uomo che, dopo una crisi depressiva, viene ricoverato in un ospedale psichiatrico e sperimenta sulla propria pelle il cinico disinteresse della classe medica nei confronti di pazienti nelle sue stesse condizioni. Si rende così promotore ed artefice di una crociata in favore di un più umano trattamento dei malati al grido di 'bisogna curare le persone, non le malattie!'.
