Trama
Jodie Foster regala un'interpretazione da Oscar® nel ruolo di Sarah Tobias, una ragazza indipendente e spregiudicata, violentata da un gruppo di ubriachi, nel retro di un bar del quartiere. E questo è solo l'inizio dell'incubo. Ora Sarah si trova a combattere il sistema legale non una ma due volte. Con l'aiuto del suo avvocato cercherà infatti di far incriminare sia gli aggressori materiali che gli spettatori che hanno incitato e incoraggiato la violenza carnale.
