Trama
Il celebre intervistatore televisivo John Tanner, salito sulla cresta dell'onda grazie alle sue interviste sempre alla ricerca della verità dai suoi ospiti illustri, viene contattato dall'agente Lawrence Fassett in merito ad un'indagine di spionaggio che vede coinvolti tre suoi amici di vecchia data: Jo Cardone, Richard Tremayne e Bernie Osterman. L'agente gli mostra in un video le prove del loro coinvolgimento con il KBG e gli parla di un'organizzazione spionistica affiliata ai russi di nome "Omega" chiedendogli di collaborare con lui per creare le condizioni perché uno dei tre suoi amici sia spinto a "cambiare bandiera".
