Trama
Il colonnello Jim Caldwell è a capo di una squadriglia speciale di bombardieri. Il suo rigore e la sua meticolosità lo mettono in attrito con i comandanti di altre squadriglie e persino con sua moglie, che è intenzionata a lasciarlo. Ma, giunto il momento dell'azione, proprio quelle prerogative per le quali l'ufficiale veniva osteggiato da tutti si rivelano decisive per il buon esito della missione
