Trama
La bionda Jake ha molto successo in un locale country di New York. Jake ha un contratto che vorrebbe sciogliere: il padrone però ama le scommesse e accetta di liberarla dagli obblighi solo se lei riuscirà a trasformare uno sconosciuto in cantante di successo. Jake mette gli occhi sul tassista Nick: lo convince a stare al gioco, ma poi si pente perché vede che nel giovane cresce la frenesia della celebrità.
