Trama
Il mondo è stato già invaso dagli zombie, la popolazione è stata già quasi totalmente decimata se non ridotta in stato di morto vivente e i pochi superstiti faticano a rimanere tali. Columbus in particolare ha messo a punto una serie di regole da seguire scrupolosamente che sembrano mantenerlo in vita nonostante l'aspetto non certo da uomo d'azione. Chi invece con l'azione ci va a nozze è Tallhassee (tutti quanti si chiamano con il nome della città di provenienza come in guerra), cowboy fuori dal tempo esaltato dall'atmosfera da fine del mondo e fiero massacratore di zombie. Sul loro percorso verso un ovest presumibilmente libero da zombie troveranno Little Rock e Wichita, due sorelle tutt'altro che indifese anch'esse allo sbando.
