Trama
Nonostante un passato non del tutto pulito, subito dopo la fine della guerra civile americana il disertore Johnny Tallon è idolatrato dal fratello cieco Ned. Tutto cambia quando Ben Shelby, il cui fratello è morto per causa di Johnny, arriva in città in cerca di vendetta. Quando però gli abitanti di Fort Defiance saranno messi sotto scacco da un attacco dei navajos, Tallon e Shelby saranno costretti a unire le loro forze e rimandare la loro resa dei conti.
