Trama
Mary, commessa in un negozio di profumi, sposata con un uomo di una certa età che non ama, incontra Jim, un pianista. Fra i due nasce l'amore che, in un primo momento procura ai due amanti ore serene, ma quando Jim si innamora di Lucy, le cose cominciano a mettersi male. Per Mary poi il dolore è più atroce perché Lucy non corrisponde la passione di Jim.
