Trama
Questo docu-dramma viaggia indietro nel tempo fino al 1963 per vedere come Doctor Who è stato portato per la prima volta sullo schermo. L'attore William Hartnell si è sentito intrappolato da una serie di ruoli da duro. Il produttore aspirante Verity Lambert era frustrato dal soffitto di vetro dell'industria televisiva. Entrambi avrebbero trovato speranze improbabili e sfide inaspettate sotto forma di un dramma all'ora del tè del sabato. Alleati con un team di persone insolite ma brillanti, hanno continuato a creare la serie di fantascienza più longeva mai realizzata.
