Trama
Il conduttore Dave Skylark (James Franco) e il suo produttore Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) sono gli artefici del popolare tabloid televisivo Skylark Tonight. Quando scoprono che il dittatore nordcoreano Kim Jong-un è un fan del loro show, i due decidono di intervistarlo nel tentativo di legittimarsi come giornalisti. I loro piani però mutano quando la Cia li recluta, nonostante la loro poca qualificazione, per assassinare lo stesso dittatore.
