Trama
Nell'ottobre del 1962 in Florida, a Key West, di fronte a Cuba dove sono stati installati alcuni missili antiamericani, gli abitanti vivono ore drammatiche. Tra costoro Gene Ingram ed il fratellino Dennis, figli di un marine della locale base, impegnato nel blocco navale contro Cuba, sono preoccupati per la vita del padre. Un compagno di Gene, Stan, saputo questo, per distrarlo lo invita ad una festa e gli presenta Sherry, il cui ex ragazzo, Harvey, è in riformatorio per una rapina...
