Trama
Il tenente Goodboy, giovane e zelante, è sempre pronto a eseguire gli ordini senza discuterli e senza pensare. Questa sua attitudine lo porta a guidare incoscientemente alla morte i suoi soldati. Dopo la conclusione della guerra, Goodboy, brillantemente e immeritatamente decorato, incontra l’unico superstite del suo plotone, il “vigliacco”. Il tenente è assalito dai ricordi e il suo volto viene attraversato dall’ombra della follia.
