Trama
Un giovane sacerdote torna nella natia Boston ed entra in crisi, ma un cardinale cerca di aiutarlo. Inviato a Vienna, una studentessa si innamora di lui. Assiste all'entrata dei nazisti in Austria e alle persecuzioni degli ebrei, ma non desiste.
