Trama
Alla lettura del testamento del barone Victor Von Frankenstein, si scopre che l'eredità va tutta al nipote Frederick, un brillante chirurgo di New York. Il dottore, seccato dalla parentela con l'illustre antenato, tentenna prima di accettare di recarsi al castello del nonno per fare un sopralluogo, ma alla fine intraprende un viaggio che lo porterà sulla strada di famiglia.
