Trama
Tratto da una storia vera : Alla fine dell'Ottocento, il bandito texano Bean diventa giudice e amministra la giustizia con metodi poco ortodossi, servendosi parecchio della forca. Il magistrato è anche barista e venera l'attrice inglese Lily Langtry che non ha mai visto. La civiltà arriva anche in quelle lande selvagge e il pittoresco personaggio sparisce, ma tornerà verso il 1920 a difendere, pistola in pugno, la propria figlia dalle prepotenze di un avido capitalista rappresentante della nuova America, ancor più spietata della vecchia.
