Trama
Nel prossimo futuro la propagazione pandemica di un virus di eccezionale letalità ha sconvolto il pianeta. La maggior parte dei suoi abitanti sono stati infettati e l'umanità è sull'orlo dell'estinzione. L'unica speranza è trovare una cura ed evitare che gli infetti diffondano ulteriormente il virus. Lauren è un dottore che, dopo la caduta di New York, si reca a Los Angeles per guidare un team alla ricerca di sopravvissuti non infetti.
