Trama
Art Long (Quaid) vive come può cantando musica country, che lui stesso compone, in piccoli locali di provincia. Quel che guadagna però non basta a mantenere la moglie Caroline e il figlio, tanto che è costretto a cambiare mestiere. Abbracciata la carriera di pugile diventa famoso col nome di Country Western Warrior.
