Trama
Nella casa dei coniugi Fane, dove da molto tempo presta servizio Nanny, torna il piccolo Joey dopo due anni di ospedale psichiatrico, in seguito al trauma per l'oscura morte della sorellina Susan. C'è ostilità fra Nanny e il bambino e quando sua madre viene colpita da forti dolori, Joey è sospettato di aver tentato di avvelenarla, ma a poco a poco viene alla luce l'insospettata follia della governante.
