Trama
Floyd possiede un bar a Blue Water, un paese sperduto del Texas. Già da tempo la moglie è scomparsa senza lasciare tracce, ma il ricordo di lei è ancora presente. Il bar cade in pezzi e le tasse sono pesanti, così Floyd sembra costretto a vendere. Un giorno ecco il dramma: viene ritrovato il cadavere della moglie annegata; saranno costruiti ben presto collegamenti con altri paesi che renderanno meno isolato il luogo. La vita continuerà.
