Trama
Harry è un insegnante in pensione sulla settantina che vive nell'Upper West Side di New York City, dove lui e la sua defunta moglie hanno cresciuto i suoi figli, dove ha vissuto tutta la sua vita. Quando l'edificio in cui vive viene demolito per far posto a un garage, Harry e il suo amato gatto Tonto iniziano un viaggio attraverso gli Stati Uniti, visitando i suoi figli, vedendo un mondo che non sembrava aver mai avuto il tempo di vedere prima, facendo nuovi amici e dire addio ai vecchi amici.
