Trama
L'arrivo del nuovo comandante in una base aerea non è accolto molto bene dai militari e dai piloti che hanno sentito parlare della severità dell'ufficiale. In effetti il maggiore Kirby è inflessibile e spedisce subito alla corte marziale un giovane pilota che per eccessivo zelo ha disobbedito ai suoi ordini. Ma durante un successivo combattimento l'ufficiale dimostra ai suoi uomini di avere una profonda comprensione umana.
