Trama
L'ispettore Willis vuole acchiappare Jack Rhodes, celebre ladro di diamanti. L'idea di mettergli alle costole una bella cleptomane non risulta essere molto felice, visto che lei se ne innamora subito. Con l'aiuto della donna Rhodes prepara un furto in grande stile, ma proprio qui lo aspetta Willis. Siegel si cimenta a fine carriera con un giallo-rosa. Il risultato non è certo all'altezza dei suoi film migliori. Comunque, i dialoghi sono brillanti, l'insieme non privo di humour e il montaggio di tutto rispetto. La lavorazione fu travagliata dai contrasti tra Siegel e la produzione.
