Trama
La giovane Susie non è ricca, ma ha un grande cuore capace di ammorbidire anche l'egoismo del marito, il ricco maggiore Parkington. Dopo la morte del primo figlio e quella del maggiore, la sua vita si fa più difficoltosa per colpa dei nipoti. Saga familiare lunga tre generazioni con Greer Garson che sa come imporsi in famiglia.
