Trama
I puritani della cittadina di Lynnfield sono in rivolta per "La peccatrice", un best-seller sexy. Sospettano poco che l'autrice "Caroline Adams" sia in realtà Theodora Lynn, rampolla della famiglia più importante della città. Michael Grant, illustratore diabolico della copertina del libro, penetra nell'incognito di Theodora e si propone di "liberarla" da Lynnfield contro la sua volontà. Ma anche Michael ha un segreto e si ritrova ad assaggiare la sua stessa medicina.
