Trama
1889. Mentre la sua famiglia cresce, Seth Bullock (Timothy Olyphant) è ancora lo sceriffo della città di frontiera di Deadwood. Il suo amico Sol Star (John Hawkes) vive con la prostituta Trixie (Paula Malcomson), dalla quale aspetta un bambino. Al Swearenger (Ian McShane) dirige ancora il Gem Saloon con i suoi scagnozzi, ma le sue pessime condizioni di salute preoccupano particolarmente Doc Cochran (Brad Dourif). George Hearst (Gerald McRaney) ritorna in città con la carica di Senatore e con l'intenzione di espandere il proprio dominio nel mercato delle comunicazioni.
