Trama
Chris Bonington e Jim Curran ripercorrono la storia delle spedizioni al K2 del 1903 fino alla tragedia dell'été del 1986, con 13 alpinisti partecipanti. Ces événements tragiques ont ancré dans l'imaginaire collectorif l'immagine de la « montagne sauvage ». Ingaggiato dall'équipe britannica «Fuller's K2» per documentare il loro tentativo di ascensione dell'arête nord-ovest, alors vierge, Jim Curran passa tout l'été sur la montagne. Inevitabilmente, il suo documentario si è trasformato in una recita toccante, nel cuore di questo periodo tragico che ha visto la vita di 13 alpinisti.
