Trama
Un allibratore usa una falsa attività immobiliare come copertura per la sua sala scommesse. Per mantenere la messinscena, assume Ellen Grant come segretaria, pensando che non sospetterà nulla di criminale. Quando Ellen viene a sapere che alcuni amici stanno per perdere la casa, inconsapevolmente spinge il suo capo a sviluppare un nuovo complesso di case popolari.
