Trama
Kat Valdez, celebre cantante, sta per sposare il fidanzato Bastian, una rock star, presso il Madison Square Garden. Quando scopre, a pochi minuti dalla cerimonia, che Bastian l'ha tradita, Kat sceglie un uomo a caso dalla folla, il divorziato e timido insegnante di matematica Charlie Gilbert, e lo sposa. Le conseguenze, inaspettate e comiche, non tarderanno ad arrivare.
