Trama
Il film, giocato sui canoni dell'umorismo inglese, illustra le lotte tra due fratelli: Masterman e Joseph Finbury. Essi si contendono il denaro di una lotteria inglese che viene assegnato all'ultimo dei sopravvissuti tra i venti partecipanti. Rimasti i soli superstiti cercano in varie maniere di eliminarsi a vicenda. La presunta morte di entrambi genera una serie di divertenti equivoci. Da un racconto di Stevenson.
