Trama
Il regista Paul Morrissey applica una forte dose di umorismo al classico romanzo poliziesco di Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in questa interpretazione de Il mastino dei Baskerville. Il comico Peter Cook interpreta il ruolo del brillante detective Sherlock Holmes, che qui non è così dotato poiché relega gran parte delle indagini sui cani demoniaci al suo maldestro aiutante, Watson (Dudley Moore), mentre trascorre del tempo con sua madre e cerca un assistente.
