Trama
Quando una delle sue ex fiamme viene violentata e brutalmente assassinata, il detective della omicidi Jack Verdon crede che si tratti solo di un crimine isolato. Ben presto, però, è chiaro anche a lui che qualcuno sta seguendo un piano ben preciso: altre sue ex sono preda di destini simili e il responsabile sembra essere un maniaco seriale. L'agente dell'Fbi incaricato del caso e il capo della polizia locale credono invece che Jack sia in qualche modo coinvolto...
