Trama
Un senatore degli Stati Uniti viene assassinato, con il modus operandi un un misterioso killer sovietico, noto come Cassius, che da tempo si riteneva morto. Per rintracciarlo, viene richiamato in servizio un agente della CIA in pensione (Richard Gere) che ha passato la vita a dargli la caccia: dovrà fare squadra con un giovane agente dell'FBI (Topher Grace).
