Trama
Nel prossimo futuro l'ingegneria genetica prenderà il sopravvento, distinguendo gli esseri umani in "validi", concepiti in provetta col DNA modificato, e "non validi", concepiti tradizionalmente. Così, Vincent Freeman, un non valido è costretto a falsificare la sua identità anagrafica per poter diventare un cosmonauta.
