Trama
Un cowboy texano (il duro James Garner) si trova, a causa di un naufragio, alle isole Hawaii. Qui, siamo nel 1850, viene salvato e poi accolto in casa da una giovane e affascinante vedova (Vera Miles) di cui si innamora. Vista l'abbondanza di bestiame brado, l'aiuta a creare un ranch e un allevamento, insegnando a lei e agli isolani l'arte del mandriano. Lotta anche contro uno spietato speculatore locale. Una storia edificante e coraggiosa, immersa nella natura e nei buoni sentimenti. Classico film per tutta la famiglia.
