Trama
Un istruttore bisbetico di una scuola privata del New England è costretto a rimanere nel campus durante le vacanze di Natale per fare da babysitter a una manciata di studenti che non hanno un posto dove andare. Alla fine, stringe un improbabile legame con uno di loro - un problematico cervellone danneggiato - e con il capo cuoco della scuola, che ha appena perso un figlio in Vietnam.
