Trama
Subito dopo l'arrivo della famiglia Thompson in campagna, i tre figli – Joe, Beth e Fran – scoprono un albero magico e i suoi residenti straordinari ed eccentrici, tra cui Moonface, Silky, Dame Washalot e Saucepan Man. In cima all'albero, vengono trasportati in terre spettacolari e fantastiche e, attraverso le gioie e le sfide delle loro avventure, i Thompson imparano a riconnettersi e valorizzarsi a vicenda per la prima volta dopo anni.
