Trama
Al termine della Guerra Civile, ex combattente torna a Abilene e ne diventa lo sceriffo. Trova la fidanzata promessa sposa a un potente boss del bestiame, che fa lega con un turbe individuo che aizza gli allevatori contro i contadini. Quando i due soci finiscono ai ferri corti e si eliminano a vicenda, lo sceriffo riporta l'ordine in città e si riprende la sua ragazza.
