Trama
Un avventuriero americano sbarca in India nel 1947, poco dopo la proclamazione di indipendenza del paese, con l'intenzione di vendere armi. La situazione è ovunque confusa e bande di rivoltosi dilagano in varie province. L'americano propone il suo affare al primo ministro, ma costui rifiuta. I centri del potere e l'esercito restano così sguarniti quando i ribelli attaccano.
