Trama
Parrish McLean vive con sua madre Ellen presso le piantagioni di tabacco di Sala Post, sulle rive del Connecticut. Quando la donna sposa il vedovo Judd Reick, altro piantatore, nemico di Sala, Parrish è costretto a lavorare nelle sue piantagioni.
