Trama
1780: dopo aver visitato il conte Dracula, il principe africano Mamuwalde si trasforma a sua volta nel vampiro Blacula. Quasi due secoli più tardi, nel 1972, due collezionisti acquistano un antico baule e lo trasportano a Los Angeles: tornato libero, il sanguinario nobile semina il panico in città e conquista l'amore di Tina, ovvero della reincarnazione di colei che un tempo era stata sua moglie con il nome di Luva. Ma un amico di Tina, il dottor Gordon Thomas, scopre la vera natura di Blacula e comincia a dargli la caccia...
