Trama
Jerry Ryan ha da poco divorziato da sua moglie. In una festa di amici conosce Gittel "Mosca" Moscawitz, estroversa e generosa, ma profondamente confusa e con la tendenza a farsi sfruttare. Ne nasce un rapporto che, per quanto sbilanciato (Jerry aiuterà Gittel economicamente), si rivelerà un rapporto "tra pari".
