Trama
Un cronista televisivo, la cui carriera è ormai in declino, viene spedito dalla sua redazione in una cittadina della provincia americana per seguire un fatto di cronaca di poca importanza. Mentre sta visitando il Museo di storia naturale diventa inconsapevolmente testimone della protesta di Sam Baily, guardia giurata. L'uomo, per protestare contro il suo repentino licenziamento, si presenta armato al Museo con l'intenzione di farsi riassumere.
