Trama
Colin Ware è un artista inglese con il cuore infranto: la sua fidanzata, Vera, ha deciso di sposare un altro uomo. Disperato, decide di imbarcarsi sul primo volo per gli Stati Uniti d'America e approda nella piccola città di Hope nel New England. Dopo un breve periodo di tristezza e spaesamento, l'uomo incontra una dolce infermiera.
